About

A roofing company owned by its crew

Rafferty Roofing began as a family company. When the family was ready to step back, it sold the company to the people who work in it.

Today full-time employees earn shares in the company over time. The crew leads, the estimators and the office are all owners or on their way to it, and no roof is put on by a subcontractor.

  • Shares are earned, not bought

  • Everyone on your roof is on our payroll

  • The wall on the home page shows who is on the crew now

Who you will meet

The people who come to your house

Three of the people you may meet first. The rest of the crew is on the home page.

  • Rhonda Easley sitting on a porch step in a plaid work shirt and reflective trousers, a hard hat beside her

    Rhonda Easley

    President

Rhonda runs the company with the owner-members. She still comes to the first meeting on larger jobs and every association walk-through.

  • Faisal Hammad in a yellow hard hat with ear defenders around his neck

    Faisal Hammad

    Lead estimator

Faisal comes to your estimate. He goes up on the roof, looks in the attic and shows you what he found before he talks about the work.

  • Spencer Hood in a safety harness on a shingle roof, a coiled rope at his feet

    Spencer Hood

    Crew lead

Spencer leads one of our crews. He is the person on the roof from the first morning until the final walk-through.

What ownership changes

Why it matters on your roof

  • People stay

Crew members with a stake in the company have a reason to stay, so the person who built your roof is likely to be here when you call about it.

  • One payroll

Everyone on your roof is on ours. No subcontract crews and no day labor.

  • Training is ours

We teach the work ourselves, from tie-off to flashing details.

  • Someone answers

Questions go to a named person in the office or a crew lead, not a call center.
